WORLD RECORD in Dwarka Gujarat: On 23rd and 24th December over 37000 females performed dance called RAAS in Dwarka, Gujarat which creates world record.
Akhil Bharatiya Yadav Samaj and Ahirani Mahila Mandal organized this Maha Raas in Dwarka where females of Ahir samaj (community in gujarat) danced together in traditional clothes.
It is believed that the raas was performed in memory of USHA the daughter of banasur and daughter in law of lord shree krishna.
Those women who participated in raas were on fast. They had also taken the maun vrat throughout the raas which lasted for two hours.
After the raas each of 37000 women were gifted the holy book of the Bhagawad Geeta.
People from all over gujarat came to Dwarka to witness this mesmerizing scenes.
History Of Ahir Samaj
It is believed that lord Krishna built the Dwarika Nagari and it was designed by Rishi Vishwakarma, the architect of lords.
And Ahir samaj who organized this event believes that they are the descendant of the lord krishna.
